I'm sure that most of you have heard, but there was a horrible shooting at Northern Illinois University. Well, that is where I am from...I lived maybe 20 minutes from the university, my high school held our proms there, we would go out to DeKalb all of the time for stuff. I know so many people who attend that school. My heart is broken for the fact that this happened so close to home, that innocent people were killed. My heart hurts even more for the fact that I am no longer there. It's difficult to process because I can't be there, I feel so distanced from it yet so close to it at the same time so that I don't know how to process this. Nobod

Hey guys!! I've got some updates for ya.
I've not been on in quite some time, just because of work and school and everything, it's just been pretty busy. It's made it hard to shoot anything, because then I had to go and develop film, get it on a cd, then edit and post it. Just too much work for the time being.
BUT....I got a new camera!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's a Canon EOS 40D, and it came with a lens. I don't remember the specs on the lens right now, but I also bought a 75-300mm telephoto lens and a UV filter. Yay!!! Now, I can slowly start getting the few other things I want...a few other lenses, an external flash, more filters...I'm so s

So...I haven't updated for a while. Sorry about that.... :-/
I've been pretty busy actually. I'm finally getting used to having a full-time job and getting my schedule in order. I really enjoy my job, a lot, actually. So, now I've got to figure out this photography thing, how I'm going to fit it in. I actually was going to take pictures today, but I realized my batteries died on my digital, and my 35mm was at home. So, I couldn't do that. Maybe next week. :)
I've got tomorrow off for Thanksgiving, then I'm working Friday, but at a different location helping out. That location is shorthanded at the moment. I'll be back at my own location nex
